President's Academic Excellence Initiative PhD Award 2022

The University of British Columbia has initiated President's Academic Excellence Initiative PhD Award, 2022 which are available to all new and continuing PhD students except those who have their tuition paid by an external sponsor. 

Eligibility criteria for the President's Academic Excellence Initiative PhD Award, 2022:

• Applicants from all nationalities are eligible.
• Applicants must enroll in a PhD course of study at the university.
• Applicants must demonstrate academic achievements.

Note: The award will be assigned automatically to eligible students, no separate application is needed.

Value of the President's Academic Excellence Initiative PhD Award, 2022:

Successful applicants of the President's Academic Excellence Initiative PhD Award, 2022 will receive the award values approximately-

• $600 per year for domestic students being assessed continuing tuition fees (year 4 and later)
• $1,300 per year for domestic students being assessed full tuition fees (years 1-3)
• $1,500 per year for international students.
