    Conditions for clinical research fellowship:

    • Ethics approval for the proposed project and should have an employment contract with UCT/PGWC that exceeds the duration of the award.
    • Provides up to R150, 000 per award, for a year.

    Conditions for postdoctoral fellowships:

    • Applicant must have submitted the thesis by the application deadline and should not be enrolled for other studies while in fellowship.
    • Candidates are responsible for their own medical aid and insurance arrangements and the tax-free status will be arranged with the South African Revenue Services.
    • A total of R200, 000 per award for a year.
